Dear Colleagues,

One Turkish municipality is looking urgently for a partner (NGO) from EU country to submit two projects for IPA (Instrument for Pre-Accession) programme in Turkey. The deadline is this Friday and this is a short notice because of sudden cancellation from expected partner. A summary information is available here below.

NO co-financing is requested from potential partner as all co-financing is provided by the Turkish leader in Gaziantep (for info, the city of Gaziantep is in fact known for being the culinary capital of Turkey)

If you agree, please inform us asap and we the will need from you at this stage only a partnership statement signed and sent by email/fax.

Project Owner: Bayazhan City Museum

Project Summary:Bayazhan City Museum was open in 2009. The building
was constructed in 1900's. It was a really old inn In 2008 it was
renovated and was converted to the City Museum. Till 2009 Bayazhan
City Museum has hosted more than 10000 visitors and has too many
exhibition about Gaziantep's old traditions,handcrafts etc.

Bayazhan City Museum has really popular and well equipped but it is
really important that cooperations and experience sharing is really
important between museums and related institutions,NGO's and other
related foundations. Bayazhan City Museum has good cooperations and
relations in Turkey they have also connections in international area
but within this grant call they want to improve their deals and want
to share experiences and support each other.

If project is accepted we are planning to have visit to partner city
and to Turkey. Museum workers and one of the NGO's (Müze Dostları
Organization)members will have visit to partner city and partner city
Workers to Bayazhan City Museum. We also want to prepare a small
exhibition in each museum about other city museum. It is not going to
be very big exhibition. Of course there will be visibility works for
the project. Finally we want to publish a small handbook which
includes general information about Gaziantep and Cologne City Museums.

Additionally, Gaziantep Bayazhan City Museum is plannig to have a big
City Archieve. Total budget of the project is 120000 Euro as you know
we just can use %15 of the budget for equippment so we will use 18000
Euro for City Archieve other will be use for
travelling,accomodation,transfer of materials.

Our partners do not have any contribution to the budget.

Your partnership is really important for us, I want to remind you
deadline is this Friday. Could you please inform us as soon as

Project Summary:Museums introduce its own culture for its urban
community. These community need to go to other cities to recognize
their culture also cultural activities. Thus establishing a
intercultural communication between countries has importance to
support interrelationships. In this way, different cultural activities
such as culinary culture, cuisine culture, festivals etc. will be
introduced to people who don’t any idea. Therefore initial study is
started by this project to establishing network communication between
Emine Gogus Kitchen Museum in Gaziantep and one NGO in EU member
state. By this way, new cultural activities were constituted where
knowledge and experiences were been shared. Establishing a network
communication should be useful exchange knowledge and experiences also
enable to get into a sustainable partnership between countries.

Budget: 120000 Euro Partner will not have contribution to the budget.
